The concept for the development seeks to integrate itself into the surrounding area and context. In
order to achieve this, both small scale terraced residential dwellings and larger apartment buildings have been used to reflect the nature of the surrounding residential estates.
The integration of developments massing and landscaping have been carefully considered to enrich the local residential environment, based on the principals of contemporary place making.
The scheme consists of 110 apartments with a mix of 1,
2 and 3 bed dwellings and 5 terraced houses across three buildings. The main building Block A has been designed with a shared central courtyard for residents, while Blocks B & C have quiet communal garden spaces along the sites’ boundaries. The proposed development will include a well landscaped amenity space, a parking ratio of 1:1, six accessible parking bays and 31 electric car charging spaces in total with an allocation for 26 additional future spaces.
