2019, what a great year it’s been
In 2019, dn-a celebrated 15 years of being in the business. It’s been a fantastic journey and we’re looking forward to welcoming many more years to come.
Over the last year we have had many exciting projects on the go and we’ve completed a series of innovative schemes that have created rewarding spaces for working, living and enjoying life. From entertainment to residential, we’ve expanded into new sectors and delivered timeless, stimulating environments that engage collaboratively with those enjoying the space.
Completed in January Davidson in Reading was holistically transformed using natural materials, much to the delight of the client, and was shortlisted for a RICS Award and a Thames Valley Property Award.
In March “The Making of Harry Potter” Warner Bros. Studio Tour London in Leavesden was extended, to include a new entrance and the opening of “Gringotts Bank”, to much critical-acclaim.
Then in September our “simply stunning” community hub at Uxbridge Business Park, The Clubhouse, received much praise from tenants, the client and has also been recognised by our peers being shortlisted for an 2020 AJ Specification Award.
2020, dn-a’s year for residential expansion
2019 has seen a great influx of residential-led projects for dn-a architecture. We have continued to deliver high-quality large scale commercial and entertainment projects and have successfully expanded into a new sector. This has been a great achievement for the team and we want to thank all involved.
Ceaser Court is currently on site, the construction of the steelwork having been completed at the end of 2019. Work continues on site and we’re looking forward to unveiling the refurbishment later this year.
White House Hostel, a new build hostel complex in Ashford for Spelthorne Borough Council, received planning in September 2019 and is progressing well.
There are more residential projects in the pipeline, so watch this space for news of more dn-a residential-led projects in 2020…
